Cure Glioblastoma was founded in 2019 by Shawn Carbonell, MD, PhD and Barbie Blank. Dr. Carbonell is a physician-scientist and entrepreneur. He invented the new drug candidate OS2966 currently in Phase I clinical trial for recurrent glioblastoma. Ms. Blank is an entrepreneur, influencer, and former WWE superstar. Her father passed away in 2018 just two months after being diagnosed with glioblastoma. Luzanne Otte received her JD from the University of Notre Dame and MA in Bioethics from Harvard University. She joins us in memory of her aunt who battled glioblastoma, Jenny Kanoff Otte.
